Lake Havasu Balloon Festival

I would appreciate any thoughts on this festival. Planning to attend and dry camp at the Marina. Any thoughts and/or suggestions from previous attendees would be appreciated. Also, what kind of tickets did you buy?

Currently sitting 27 miles south of LHC, I have not seen the, Winter Activities/Events, publication for the area yet, and can't find last years for the Balloon Festival contact info and dates. I'll track your post, and post any info I can round up.
In the 6 years I've been in the area, there have been issues with high winds on the event days, JMHO, I wouldn't be shelling out in advance for any tickets.

I don't know what Marina you are referring to that would allow dry camping but there are many dry camping opportunities in the area.

It is true that Havasu get's some wind but that's normal (hey it's the desert). Usually get a day or two of good enough weather for the balloons to launch during the event.
