NHRA finals Pomona
We are hoping to go to the NHRA finals Nov. 13 - 16. I saw they are selling campsites package's, front row, second row and third row.. full hookups.. they make it sound like it is right there by the track. but I can't figure out where they would be.. I wondered if anyone has been there. This is not the KOA, there by the track.

I have not been there, but Google Earth shows an RV lot in amongst the trees, at the edge of the parking lot to the south....what would be at the end of the quarter mile. You will not be watching the races from the top of your RV, becasue the grandstands pretty much block the view.

I live so close I can hear every run, big time. There are Grandstands the entire length of the track. I would choose the KOA right accross the street from the track. There is another one up at Puddingstone lake. There is nothing with full hookups right at the track except as mentioned above. Remember, for a night out, go North, not South.

I was WRONG. There is a place along the track, east side toward the end, that there is no stands. Not sure about any hook-ups but elect would be easy to do, water could be delivered and holding tanks pumped.

Thank you for all the input. I saw that area on the east side and thought that seemed the only possibility. We decided that the park at the lake would be close enough and we would just get tickets to watch. It would have been fun, but we have a miniature Schnauzer that doesn't do well in thunder showers.. so we thought all the noise might do him in, Thanks again.

A good choice, you'll have a blast without being blasted.
