QuartzFest-Amateur radio Gathering

QuartFest is a "gathering" of Amateur radio operaters begining January 15 for 10 days till Jan 25. We gather near mile marker 99, South of Quartzsite AZ just off highway 95. This is NOT a club. But all clubs are welcome.
All are welcome to join in for a learning experience with free boon dock camping (14 days max.) There are classes and seminars all day long 4 free!
Did i mention FREE?

I seem to recall the Western Rally is the weekend BEFORE Quartsite. If western rally is this week, You can go from there to QZ (day's drive) QZ is 2 full weeks (though Gordo cuts it down to 10 or 12 days, it's 2 full weeks) Should start I think on the 13th this year.

I am going to try to make it next year, If I do I won't be parked with the hams (I park farther north) but I'll be downright easy to find.

I wish we could. That's a long ride from SC. We have 2 school age kids and full time jobs.
Wish that could be near us.
