Easter Meal
Somewhere here (I can't find it) someone said they were providing ham and lamb for a meal on Easter. Whoever you are, thank you. Carol and I will keep up the rhyming by bringing candied yam (yes, we're bringing more than one but 'yams' doesn't fit the rhyme...)

Sue and Martin are providing the Lamb, and Earlene and I are providing the "Ham."

I think the proper term is "Earlene is supplying the Ham!"
Ps. Does your driveway have drive through beer service?

So besides Ham, Lamb and Yams do you wish others to provide a dish ?

Sena at the GC
Most of you have met Sena, but for those of you who have not, just a little advice. If you're not interested in having Sena near you, please let me know. Monkeys are not for everyone and I will keep her at a respectful distance if I know your wishes.
If you would like to interact with Sena here are some tips --
Sena absolutely will NOT bite. We settled this issue many years ago when she was just a baby. Monkey teeth are not allowed on human skin, EVER!
Sena has never seen a jungle, but she still has all those jungle instincts. She is fearful of being captured so fast movements or a hand on her back will spook her. It is best to touch her hand or foot first. She needs to watch everything and every one. Please don't surround us. I try to sit or stand with my back to a wall so she needs to only worry about 180 degrees around us.
Direct eye contact is a social no-no in monkey society -- unless she initiates it. It's not considered a threat, just bad manners. You can look at her ears, nose or chest -- anywhere but her eyes and you'll notice that she'll quickly glance at you then look away.
She is enthralled with some people, usually women with light hair or small children. To them she will make direct eye contact and "talk" very sincerely while giving them a hand massage. Her kisses resemble licks as she is unable to pucker her lips. She may even tap her teeth very lightly on the back of your hand but she will NOT bite.
It is best if you try to ignore her at first. If you get excited about meeting her, she will shy away. Predators stalk monkeys with a quivering stare. That looks a lot like an excited human.
Food is her primary motivator and you are welcome to give her small treats. She is a type 2 diabetic so I must limit the amount of sugar she consumes. Good treats are nuts, string cheese, tic tacs, ONE raisin or about a tablespoon of diet soda. Rather than just handing her treats, make her work for them. Let her see you put a treat in a pocket or inside a small container. She is very capable of opening Velcro, zippers or screwed on lids so guard your purses, drinks and food. She steals! And she uses straws to drink, so she'll happily taste what is below your straw. She'll have a cup her size and if she wants some of what you are drinking she will usually hand you her cup.
Sena has regular health checks and does not carry any disease other than type 2 diabetes. You are 10,000 times more likely to catch something from me or any other human than you are from her.
Sena will be diapered and leashed most of the time but she is an escape artist. If she gets out of our RV she may try to get into yours. Screen doors won't keep her out. She knows how to slide the panel open and then slip inside. She can also open your refrigerator and most cabinet doors, even those overhead. Drawers are no challenge, either. The safest way to guard your RV is to keep your main door closed during the day. After dark she will not leave the safety of our home.
If you have any questions, please ask.

Thanks Jeff for bringing the "meal" items to my attention. I have modified the first page of this thread to include the Brunch List. Anyone who would like to sign up for providing some goodies, just speak up. If two people sign up for the same thing please confer with each other and maybe go in halves, or not duplicates.

Please bring your own nickels, so I won't have to go borrowing someone else's change to pass out. At a nickel per game, we are a cheap date!
Another thought: Practice up your paper plane making skills & we might have a competition.
These & others games are mostly in case we have a bit of downtime from sightseeing & eating, of course, or bad weather. Additional ideas welcome!
Cheers!
