98 from Navarre to Cedar Key

We have a 40' coach and are fairly new to the road full time. Has anyone had any issues driving from Navarre, FL to Cedar Key, Fl on route 98? Seems easy enough on the map. Would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Nice stretch of highway.

Once you get to Cedar Key, roads are very narrow!

From Apalachicola eastward it's two-lane with soft sandy shoulders, then US-19 from Perry down to the turnoff at Otter Creek is nice four-lane. No issues. You'll see a pine tree or billion. For supplies stop at Walmart or Winn-Dixie in Chiefland. I haven't been west of Apalach on 98 in so long I don't know anything about it.

Just traveled eastbound on 98 thru Appalach, also a nice stretch of highway.

As a sidebar to this thread, we camped at Cape San Blas (St. Joseph Penninsula State Park).

It is definitely worth a night's stay!

Also, you can easily park a 40 footer as you come into Appalachicola (big on street parking spaces)....it is definitely worth a walk around and warrants sampling some very fine seafood!
