99 South

Came south on hwy 99 from Sacramento to Bakersfield on January 8. Lots of construction, some slow places but no stoppages.

Came through before serious fog. Fog predicted for 10 pm to noon. In Bakersfield on morning of 1/9 and fog seems to be lifting some.

We sometimes get serious Tule fog in the Fresno area so bad you can't see much more than 20 feet.

Glad you didn't hit any of that. We've had 50 car and truck piles ups because people don't slow down.
