The all new 4 lane section of 25 from Logansport to Lafayette is open now.
Shouldn't be any issues with 24 or 231.

Getting pretty close to our hometown. What brings you to Crawfordsville?

Ok. Covered Bridge Festival starts Friday the 11 th. There's an RV park in Bridgeton. Ind. (Willow Rose RV park). Lots of Crafts, antiques and best of all Food. We stay there for 10 days. Talked to owner a couple days ago. He has spaces available.

All the highways you mention are 2 or 4 lane, most with nice wide berm. You might encounter a hill, but don't count on it. You will see much farm land, smell some pig farms, and change speed often for small towns. Watch out for harvesting equipment and Amish buggies on the road. A nice ride. If you want to see for yourself, use Google maps and drop the 'street view' guy onto the highway and take a look.

If you're traveling diesel, buy before you get to Indiana to save about 25 cents a gallon.

Right, diesel prices advertised at truck stops are for exempt trucks. You will find a much higher price when you pump. Regular fuel stations show the correct price for diesel. Just the way it is in Indiana. The Crawforsville Wal-Mart is currently selling diesel for $3.73 which is pretty darned good for this area. With a Wak-Mart gift card, , you get an additional $.03 off. Lots of RVers fill up there.
