Albuquerque to Las Vegas, how scary is the drive.

We will be taking Rt. 40 over to Las Vegas in about a month. Just wondering how others who have driven a class A gasser with a tow dolly and car over this route felt about the roads and especially the high elevations. White knuckle experience? Any special precautions?

I drive a 40' DP plus toad.

If your taking I-40 W to Kingman and 93 to Vegas you will be fine. The highest elevation will be near Flagstaff, where I-40 is rough. No white knuckle experiences.

It's an interstate.... not scary - except for all the traffic.

Thanks for the replies. Seems it will be an uneventful drive as far as the terrain.
