Banff to Glacier NP to W Yellowstone

Can anyone suggest a suitable route that a 40ft Dp and toad can do without too much trouble.
Going to the sun road is ok for motorhomes??
We have booked to stay at both west glacier and west Yellowstone so destinations are concrete

Hey Steve:

G'morning from South Dakota. Wtih regard to your inquiry about "Going to the sun road (being) ok for motorhomes?.....NO, it is not a route for motorhomes. While staying over in West Glacier, do take your tow car up and back on Road to the Sun, it's a great little tour, but DO NOT take your rig. I think the length limit is something like 19 ft. or 21 ft.

When you do leave West Glacier after touring the park a few days, take Hyw. #2 around the Southern margin of Glacier Park over to the town of Browning, then head South toward your West Yellowstone destination.

It will be the most scenic route of the three you can take. This route will take you through Radium and the world famous hot springs.
There is a national park camp ground that over looks the town that has sites from full service to basic.
There is also private RV sites in the town by the river. There is also great opportunity to see wildlife along this route too.
Enjoy your travels.
Pat
