Baton Rouge to REV in Decatur IN
I've mapped out 2 routes to Decatur IN, which one is the best for a 37' class A diesel? We are headed to the REV service facility in 2 weeks.
1) Baton Rouge->Memphis TN->Marshall IL->Decatur IN
2) Baton Rouge->McCalla AL->Shepherdsville KY->Decatur IN
If there is a better route please let me know.
Thanks!

Hello Dobiemom,
Sorry that I can’t provide any useful routing info, but your trip to the REV Group is just as interesting…
What was the wait time for services at the REV Group?
Thank you,
-James

Appointment was made 3 weeks ahead. We were at REV a total of 3 1/2 days. Most of our time was spent waiting on parts, which come from a mile down the road.

Well, I guess you made it okay, can you tell us what route you chose, and would you take the same route if you had to do that trip again?

I-55 to Sikeston, MO, then US-60 to I-57 to I-70, I-465 around SOUTH side Indy to I-69 to I-469 around south side of Ft. Wayne, IN, then US-27.
- Avoids I-65 on the near north side of Birmingham (bad stretch of I-65)
- Avoids Nashville, TN (Atlanta 2.0) no good bypass for northbound traffic.
- Avoids Shepherdsville, KY - currently much needed reconstruction of the worst stretch of I-65 thru Kentucky.
- Avoids Louisville, KY (unless you take I-265 around east side) Toll bridges across Ohio River.
