We lived in New Mexico for many years and visited Chaco Canyon several times. It's an awesome place and we still stop in when we are in the area. My advice - don't even think about taking your motorhome there! 16 - 17 miles of extremely rough, sandy, soft road, and the campground is more accommodating to small units and tents. mickeybitsco hit it... park the motorhome in Bloomfield and drive your toad to Chaco. But do see it while in the area. It is well worth the effort.
