Bella Vista, AR to Branson, MO?

RVTW has me going up to Springfield, MO and back down to Branson. I am assuming this has to do with the very curvy roads in NW Arkansas. I have a 32' travel trailer with a Chevy 2500HD truck.

Is this the best route?

Google maps has first choice as the southern route starting with hwy 340,94, 37,112,13,86,65. I have only driven hwy 65 and others headed to Eureka Springs. As you know the wounderful hwys in the Ozarks are for the most part are ok to travel on. But one would wish the someone would grab an end and give the roads a good shake to straighten out.

It's such a short distance if you take the direct route via 94/62/112/86 - 88 miles according to Google Maps. Why not do a day trip with your truck and check it out for a RV?

I am familiar with the roads from Bella Vista to the Missouri line. Most of these are very curvy and hilly and my speed will be slow. Being this will be my first trip pulling the travel trailer I think I will do it the long interstate to Hwy 62 route. Being I will be going to Branson a few times a year I may try this route later.
