Best APP GPS for motorhome?

In my car I use WAZE & love it but as of now waze does not have one for trucks or RVs.
Is there a good GPS APP to use in a coach? Would need to have height clearance.

Just want it as a back up to Garmin or McNally.

One only on my iPhone App store. 59.99! too pricey for a back up for me.

We full-timed for 16 years and drove secondary roads all the time. We preferred them over interstates. We never had an issue with overhead clearance. We were also in the western mountains all the time. All U.S. state highways are accessible to semi trucks so if they fit we figured we could, also. I guess it depends where you'll be driving. To get further in the boonies we used our Jeep.

CoPilot app is only $14.99. The laptop version for $59 seems to be no longer available.

I have been using it on my iPad with Waze running in the background (I have WiFi in the coach) and have had no problems so far.

I purchased it on sale, but it may or may not be worth the additional cost to everyone. However it does allow you to enter additional RV dimensions, and the search function for campgrounds and truck stops is easier.

I will defer to the above that are using co-pilot day to day. I have the free version and Google maps for backup on the phone and a RV760 Garmin for the primary.

Howdy!

I used the premium verision of Co-pilot for years as fulltimers and it serviced us well. That version has a RV setting that you can set the height of your RV up to 13'. I not use the RV version as our toy hauler is 13'4". It as served us well in our travels this year in the northeast as they have numerous low bridges.

Co-pilot Speach to text

Does Co-Pilot provide 'Text to speech' navigation? Sometimes. DW isn't always available to tell me what the app is showing.

Thanks!

Co-pilot and traffic warnings

Also, do you know, does Co-pilot tell you about traffic problems ahead in your course?

Thanks!

Yes it has an add-on feature called Active Traffic that is free for the first year. I actually find Waze more usful and run that in the background.

To answer your previous question, yes it has Text to speech.
