Best Route Bushnell Florida to Bristol TN

Looking for the best route north out of Bushnell Fl to Maggie Valley NC and then on to Bristol TN.

Want to avoid Atlanta at all costs, I've heard the horror stories from many regarding the traffic in that area. Not adverse to two lane highways

Looking to breakup the trip from Bushnell to Maggie Valley, thinking maybe two segments of about 275/300 miles each.

If anyone also has suggestions for stops along the way: between Bushnell and Maggie Valley, two days; Maggie Valley, about 1 week maybe two weeks, Bristol, TN probably two days; then we are heading north up 81 to Maine.

Open to state parks, private campgrounds, any other types of campgrounds also acceptable.

Thanks in advance

I live near Macon, GA and we ALWAYS avoid Atlanta by taking the 129/441 route from Macon.

The route for you https://goo.gl/maps/sUSReh4ymDn

We travel through metro Atlanta all the time pulling a 40 foot 5th wheel. It's very manageable. It's best to go early on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Going north to I85, take I675 to I285 east to I85. If north to I75 to Chattanooga, take I285 west. There's always construction in the area. Just take your time. It's week day morning and afternoon rush hours that give Atlanta the bad name and it's always a mess.
