Best Route for Fort Payne AL to Townsend TN

We are going to be traveling from Fort Payne AL to Townsend TN in about a month. We will be in a 36' DP with a toad.

How is Maryville to 321 to Townsend? Is that a suitable route?

or Do I go further to Knoxville and down 441 to Sevierville and then down to 321 to Townsend?

This would be on a Sunday.

thanks

Mike

I live in Lenoir City which is just off I75. Take the Lenoir City exit 81 off I75 N and turn right onto 321. 321 is all 4 lane except for the last 5 or 6 miles to Townsend. Very easy drive and no issue with your coach and toad.

You will pass within 50 feet of my office as you come down the hill and cross over main street for Lenoir City.

Thanks. Glad to hear that 321 is OK for the rig.

We will plan on going that way.

Drove from Ft Payne to Chattanooga about two weeks ago. They are working on I59. It is all torn up and rough.

This is the way that we went to Townsend TN. This route was simple and clear for a 36' Class A DP, towing.

thanks
