Best route from Jackson Wy to Salt Lake City

Looking for the best route from Jackson Wy to Salt Lake City international airport. 41 ft motorhome towing a Tahoe. Best route avoiding steep grades if possible or routes that will be okay for my motorhome. Thanks

I've done this rout several times, and I dislike I-15 scenery. Head south outta Jackson to Hoback and Alpine. South on 89 to Montpelier, then south on 30. Stay east of Bear lake. If you went around the west side of Bear Lake, you'd hit the two toughest routes for a motorhome/toad; 89 from Garden City to Logan, and 30 from Garden City to Randolf. From Montpelier, take 30 to Wardboro, Alton and Cokeville, then 16 to Randolph, Woodruff and Evanston. From Evanston, I-80 to SLC. Take it carefully on I 80 between Wanship, a bit twisty for your big rig, but nothing too bad.


You can also go north outta Alpine towards Palisades and Idaho Falls and take I-15 to SLC, likely a bit faster, but lots les scenic

Just look at the map - Alpine is easy and scenic - you are in an RV what else would make sense?

Follow the Rivers and streams - always makes for the easier drive.
