Best route from Missoula, MT to Jackson Hole, WY

Hi,

Planning a trip in September and wondering the best route (least mountains) from Missoula, MT to Jackson Hole, WY. Any info would be appreciated.

i drive this route a few times each year. Easy drive, lots of rest stops.

12 East to Butte,. Mt
15 South to Idaho Falls, Id.
26 East to Alpine, Wy.
89 past Hogback, Wy.
191 North into Jackson, Wy.

The route on the map is Interstate highway until you get to Idaho Falls. From there good 2 lane highway to Jackson. Many mapping services may try to route you to Victor, ID and use WY 22 into Jackson. This route takes you over Teton Pass. Not good if you want to avoid mountain driving.

RT 22 is not good to do in an RV - JMHO,

BUT if this is in season - I'd look to coming into Jackson through YNP - - It's winter and closed so Mapping will not show this Route -
