Question Best Route From Rapid City, South Dakota to Jackson Hole, Wyoming

Hi- First time posting- new Member Check-in
We are currently in Rapid City, South Dakota and Ultimately heading to Pinedale, Wyoming- but would like to stay a couple days in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best route to travel? (we started our trip from California, and have been detoured several times due to mud slide, road construction, accidents, etc to get this far and have ended up on some Very narrow, winding roads with no shoulders and huge canyons- which make me super nervous Lol- trying to avoid those kind of routes if possible for the last leg of our trip Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

546 mi - Very Scenic - I-90 to Buffalo, Hwy 16 to Worland, Hwy 20 south to Shoshoni, hwy 26 into Teton Nat'l Park & south to Jackson (our favorite)

541 mi - I-90 to Gillette, Hwy 50/259 to I-25 to Casper, Hwy 26 into Teton Nat'l Park & south to Jackson

It being Wyoming -- you don't have many options. No matter which way you'll go there will be a loooooong stretch of nothing. I did it during the winter (3x) and didn't have any issues in my 38' rig.

I-90 to Gillette. Interstate, you'll be fine.

I-25 to Casper. Again, all interstate. Totally easy.

US26/Hwy 287 to Moran. Wind River Reservation is nothing but fields with mountains waaaaay off in the distance. It's a long haul but the roads are good. National Military Vehicle History Museum is BRAND NEW and worth a stop (no idea why they built it in the middle of nowhere!)

Hwy 191 South to Jackson. This road is curvy but not terribly tight. Do it during the day for amazing views coming through the Nat'l Park.

Once you're done in Jackson you'll need to go south down 191. This is the only road that will feel scary but it's not all that bad from a grade perspective. It's just tight and windy for about 25 miles and then you're cruising again all the way to Pinedale (which is a pretty cool little town!)
