We've taken our 40' MH on 89 through the park multiple times (read the nps web site for any road repairs; every year there are some); stayed at Mammoth campground. The other route is 191 from Bozeman - did that, also when we were coming from the west.

Great! Good to know.
Which one is easier with less grades?
Is 89 a better road?

191 is easier. No animals in the road!

Always a possibility! Although not as many, typically, than within the park. Saw the result of a car/moose collision a couple of years ago. Wasn’t pretty.
