Birmingham

I am planning to head North up Hwy 65 through Birmingham, but coming through last fall the road condition was horrible.
Is there a better way to get through Birmingham and avoid 65.
I want to connect with hwy 22 north of Birmingham.

We passed through Birmingham on 65 this past Thursday. The road was fine and not as much traffic as usual.

Road construction "complete" road condition pretty good. This is for north of Bham. Not sure of I-65 coming in from the south.I can't remember far enough back to know when I-65 was not under construction there.
