Boston to DC - where to overnight

Just need a spot to stop for the night, don't need any amenities. Preferably in the middle, which looks like it puts us somewhere around NYC. Any suggestions?

Assuming you are taking the NJ Turnpike, any of the Turnpike rest areas allow overnight parking. I did it twice and sought out a parallel spot along the edge of the truck area away from the worst of the idling noise and slept right thru the night.

If taking the NJ Tpk at exit 5 is a Cracker Barrel which allows overnight parking,company policy, and no trucks and the restaurant as well. Strait across the exit road and it is on your left. It is also accessible from int 295 by taking Mt. Holly exit rt 541 and heading east toward mt holly.
