Bullhead City to Williams, AZ

Looking for route recommendation. Have heard of very steep grade going over Union Pass from Bullhead City to Kingman, AZ. Should we avoid that and go longer route south through Lake Havasu then up to Kingman?

It's only about 30 miles from Bullhead to Kingman and it isn't all that bad. Then take I-40 from Kingman to Williams. Traveled it many times. You won't break any speed laws but it's the most direct and fastest way to get there.

BTW, it's only around 115 miles from Kingman to Williams With the hills, it will take you about 3 hours total time.

Eastbound descent is about 1 mile of 6% followed by 4 miles of 4%. It's a longer descent westbound. You'll do just fine.
