Chesapeake bay bridge, tunnel

Has anyone recently traveled the Chesapeake Bay bridge and tunnel with a class A motorhome towing a toad? What was your experience and would you do it again? Do you remember the cost?

I don't remember the cost but my kids and I did travel this to get to Chincoteque in a 43' Class A and had no issues. If its too windy the bridge will be shut down and if the first time you will be a little white nuckled just because.....but it was a great experience. Take your time and who cares if cars behind you blast the horn. Stay in your lane and keep it at a controlled speed!

We've been thru there too many times to count. A truck and 5er was $24 each way last time we went that way with the RV. Fall of 2020. We've been several times since then in a car as we have family up that way. Weekends are higher, there are EZ pass lanes but you have to stop and wait for the gate to open. Far right lane is the wide one. You want to be in that lane.
Weekends are higher. 13'6" and they mean it.
Watch your speed in the VA county just north of the bridge, the county boys are everywhere since VA changed the law to the counties getting most of the money.
It's a beautiful ride most days with a great rest stop east side as you exit the controlled area.
There is a great fuel stop 3 miles north of the CBBT on the west side with diesel truck lanes.

Great except for 2 relatively short tunnels, one lane in each direction and tight.

Bridge is easy except for winds, slippery conditions.

I use it all the time and a class A wouldn't bother me except for the tunnels, which bothers me and my class C.

Crossed it numerous times. No issues. Standard lane width & plenty high enough for semis.

Google rates.

It is an attraction all by itself. Tunnels must be all of 50-60' below water surface. Ears pop.
