I haven't been through for many years but they used to have a station set up before the tunnel that you would pull in and they would make sure the propane was shut off before you went in, I'm sure someone else will be along shortly with more up to date information

Just pull over after the toll booth and shut off the propane valve.

I have been through it several times and at the toll booth, they ask if the propane is off. No one ever checked it. We have a class C so that should not matter.

Been through it several times, biggest was a 43 foot MH. No problem, except the price. If you have a residential refrigerator, go. If not , shut off propane, just to stay legal. Very nice trip. If you pull off at the view stops, at the tunnel entrance, be prepared to unhook toad, as the turn around area is tight. Enjoy , the Muffin Man.

Exclamation

Forgot to mention, be aware of wind conditions. If it is going to be blowing, they stop 18 wheelers, trailers, and motor homes from using the bridge. Call ahead if it looks windy. Good luck.

I don't understand? Your Class C doesn't have propane?

Someone said they check if the propane is off. He asked about a class A, I said I have a class C. Yes I have Propane. I shut it off before the tunnel/bridge and turn it back on after going over.

The don't phisicaly check the valve, they ask at the booth.

In the tunnels of Hampton VA., they have maned stations that require you to stop and they watch you turn the valve off.
