CO Peak to Peak Scenic Byway

Anyone with experience driving this road -Rtes. 7 - 72 - 119 South from Estes Park to Rte.6 [Toward Golden]?

Suitable for 40' DP w/toad?

Yes, you can do it. But it would be much more pleasant drive with just the toad. It is a crooked road with many short ups and downs and 3 good pulls. Stop in Black Hawk at the Ameristar casino on the east side of the road for the buffet. If you are in the toad, explore Black Hawk and Cemtral City. Lots of neat old buildings, Some have been redone and have casinos--some are original. Nederland has the frozen dead guy.

Drove this highway last weekend. Class C 31 with no real issues. 119 is a busy road but a scenic run. Ive seem class A pm this peak to peak seemed okay. Slower speeds but thats fine. Click image for larger version
