Mountain Directory for Truckers, RV, and Motorhome Drivers

I have used mountain directory for many years. Now they have a digital version. At least you know what grades to expect prior to going.

We made that trip several falls ago, hunting elk. Ft Collins to the little settlement of Rand on a dirt road off 14 and then north toward Walden. We were pulling 14 feet equipment trailers (two trucks) and while the road was paved until the Rand cutoff, it was crooked. Much of it ran along a stream and was beautiful. Not sure I would want pull a 5er that route, but 31 is not so huge. Either way, you will love the scenery.

FYI traveled the road 7/18 in a car and there were lots of folks pulling trailers, 5th wheels and a few motorhomes. Really good road all the way to Red Feather area. Didn't go any further.
