Evening,
Wondering what the condition of I-64 is like in West Virginia? Anyone driven it lately from the Kentucky state line?
Thanks for any info.

From the KY line to Charleston isn't too bad. Hard to believe you are in W Va. Charleston to Beckley you definately have to take your time, mountains and curves. When you get around Beckley, tighten the seat belts. Where Rt 19 comes in untill the 64/77 split it's really rough!
When 64 and 77 split the roads get better. 77 has a lot of mountains and I can't say more on 64 but it's fairly new as far as W Va roads go.

We were down through part of that just a couple months ago. I know there's construction on I-64 between Huntington & Charleston. Narrow lanes & slow traffic to watch out for. Baby Bear is right about being careful on the curves/grades between Charleston & Beckley. Just watch out for those little bitty cars zipping by you. After the 64/77 split it's a nice drive over into VA with easy, rolling road.
