Defuniak Springs to Tarpon Springs

We will be coming south to spend some time this winter near Tarpon Springs. We will be getting on I10 at Defuniak. Is I10 to I75 south a good route or is I10 to 19 and 98 south the better of the two? Typically we stick to the four lane when trying to make good time but realize we may run into heavy traffic areas on I75. Any thoughts?

US-19 to US-98 south of Homosassa, Suncoast Parkway to wherever you want to turn off to Tarpon, perhaps SR-54. There's no point to fighting your way through US-19 traffic from Hudson southwards.

I agree with Hicks...19 is the best route to Tarpon Springs...beautiful location!
