Define 'Larger'... obviously, from DE you're referring to Phila, NYC, Boston, etc. But do you also mean Hartford, or Allentown or what?

Google Maps is your friend. I-83 to I-81 to I-84 to I-87 up to I-90, across Mass, skirting Boston, and then get to I-95.

It all depends on how much you want to stay on interstates, vs back country road. If it's scenic you want, there are a thousand ways to get there. Any en-route destinations? Or do you just want to get to BH in the quickest way?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I was wanting to avoid New York and Boston mainly. I was planning on two travel days with a site reserved in Rhode Island for an overnight on the way up and back. I'm checking out your suggested route which looks like a solution. I'll just look for a different stop-over.
