Dixie Hwy / 41 west of Monteagle?

Dixie Hwy / 41 west of Monteagle? Is it a bad road for new mountaineers?

I have driven up 41A east bound out of Cowan Tn. into Monteagle, slowly, with no issues. It is a beautiful drive going up. I'm sure you can go down and enjoy as well. It's very nice from where the St Hwy 56 cuts off down into Cowan. Take your time to enjoy the view.

Now if you are talking about 41 going to Pelham there is one real tight turn but if a semi can do it you should be fine.

For sightseeing I think 41A into Nashville is better.

Ok to answer my question up and down HWY 41 to Monteagle is scenic and doable in an old gasser with full tanks, full gas and an overloaded toad.... Thanks for suggestions
