Edmonton, Ab to Tulalip,Wa

Has any one stayed at "Smokey Point RV Park"
My wife and I are heading to Tulalip,Wa for a few days and are thinking about staying there
We have a 42' motor home Will it fit in their site
This will be the first time that we will be using this for holidays as all I do is drive to the places that I work at but this tme we are going from Edmonton,Alberta to Tulalip,WA. (Shopping) the only way I can get her to go on a trip in the MH.She said there is good shopping there
This is how we are going
Edmonton,Ab to Creston,BC cross boarder go to Sand Point,Id then to Coeur d'Alene,Id then Drive to Tulalip,Wa just north of Seattle,Wa
Planning on stopping in Creston,BC overnight
But not sure if I should stop there or some other place
Any thoughts
Thanks

We have stayed at a CG on the West side of Creston called Pair A Dice. Not a bad place but ask for a pull through site cause the back ins are pretty short for your rig.

Quickest way to Tulalip from Edmonton is hwy 16 thru Jasper to hwy 5 thru Kamloops to Hope then hwy 1 . cross the border at Abbottsford or Aldergrove. Thru Bellingham to I 5. Tulalip shopping and casino is exit 202. Fuel at this exit also with lots of room in and out for your rig. Free dry camping in the casino RV park. Google maps says 1230km and 13 1/2 hour drive. + border time of course.
Have fun. great buffet in the casino.
PS..this route also avoids the nightmare called Seattle traffic!!!!

Although we haven't stayed at Smokey Point RV Park, we've visited somebody who was staying there. It is an older park with sites very close to each other and not much privacy at all. It's a mish-mash of mobile homes and RV sites. It would be good for a day or two perhaps. Here's the Google satellite image so you can see what I'm talking about =click here. I'm not sure if it would take a 45-footer or not. You could call them to see. =click here for their website.

The thing is, I'm not sure that there are many other alternatives close to Tulalip unless as Flyboy757 has said, you want to boondock in the casino lot.

There are a few nice parks in the Anacortes/Burlington area but they are going to be a ways to Tulalip. Let us know if you want the names of those parks.
