Fallon, NV to Bishop, CA

Have to travel from Fallon, NV to Orange County, CA in Tiffin 31SA, possibly next weekend 2/24/17. Anyone been on 95 south to 6 to Bishop? Wondering what I might expect this time of year. DOT indicates no road issues. Any comments are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

With a pass on #6 at 7,200' the way the weather in the area has been this week ; I'd say snow .

EDIT: 10 day forecast for Bishop is overnights below freezing and 44 for the highest daytime high.
JMHO: Go further south before crossing the mountains.

I'd be concerned with #6. Tough area and weather can make a huge difference. Snow area and with the current weather they have been having, I'd be very cautious! Check weather reports and road conditions before taking off or it may be very unfun. Other route may be longer but less white knuckle. Whatever you choose, be safe keep it between the ditches. Happy motoring...
