Flathead Lake area to Spokane - Road Const 93S

We're in Polson, MT. Normally we'd run down 93S to I90W to travel to Spokane.

In Ronan, a major 93S refresh is in play. We had about 3/4-1 Mile of dirt traveling on our way North into Polson. And with all the rain, it was a muddy mess on the coach and toad!

Looking for feedback on Hwy 28W, off of 93 from Big Arm area of Flathead Lake. Thinking of going this route, from Polson to get back to I90W:

Get on I-90 W in Mineral County from U.S. 93 N, Mount Hwy 28 W and MT-135 E - Drop onto I90 W and then on over to Spokane.

We're 45' with a CRV toad.. How are 28 and 135 for a good side rig?

TIA, and best to all,
Smitty

28 to Plains then 200/135 to I-90 is 220 miles

I'd highly recommend 246 very scenic miles:

28/200 to Sandpoint, ID, then 95 to I-90 at Post Falls to Spokane

As for as the roads.... they're all good.
