Ft Bridger to Cody best route?

We’ll be driving a 36’ Class A gas RV with a toad next week. We’re wondering about road conditions for our rig.
Which route is best between Ft. Bridger and Thermopolis?
Should we head toward Lander taking I-80 E to WY 372, WY 28, US 287, WY 789, to US 20?
Or should we head first toward Rawlins taking I-80 E, US 287 toward Rawlins, then US 287 N/Wy 789 N toward Casper/Lander, US 287 N, Wy 135 N, WY 789 N, to US 20 W to Thermopolis?
After Thermopolis we’ll be driving to Cody which is our final destination for awhile.

I was over the route (28/120/20) from Cody to I-80 a couple of years ago with a 5th wheel. Was pretty unremarkable. Roads was okay, not a lot of mountains or curves.

This is way you want to go. No issues.
