We have the 785. The dashcam is good enough but the GPS needs pointed straight ahead so the camera is pointed straight ahead, so you can’t angle the display towards you. In a Class A that isn’t an issue because you can set it a bit further towards the front of the vehicle. I bought the beanbag mount and velcroed it to the dash to provide a solid, not moving mount. Off-angle viewing and brightness is good.

I believe in keeping systems simple and separated. I have the 770, which I love, and a dash cam as a stand alone. This allows me to use the Garmin in a convenient location. The 770 does everything I need it to, plus a lot of stuff I don't.

We use the 770 and really like it. But we use this mount for it. So far we have only used this mount since January but went from San Antonio to Phoenix, back to San Antonio, Houston, and north the Cincinnati.
It did stay in place and did NOT slide around on the dash.

For us it was worth $40.00
