Garmin RV 851 help

Hello,

Our Renegade came with the RV 851 installed for GPS, stereo, camera monitor and related functions. Our main issue is the turn-by-turn voice commands do not work if the tablet is mounted/connected to the base unit. If you pull the tablet off the mount, you get the voice giving directions but lose the turn signal camera views. Place the tablet back on the mount and the voice goes away.

We've updated the software, I've been in contact with Garmin support (no help) and searched here and other places but can't find anything other than make sure the software is up to date. Any thoughts?

Sorry but I'm not familiar with the 851 but I do have a new 1090 with voice issues.

I've also contacted Garmin w/o resolve. The only way we got 1 to work was by trying every English voice until we found one to work. I think it was Zoe but can't remember for sure now and I'm not near the RV to double check.

I'm having a similar problem. If the display is connected to the base and I make a call, I can't hear it ring or the person on the other end talk. They can hear me. When I pull the display off, it works fine. This system has some real quirks.
