We would buy outdated maps in the grocery store and call long distance at $3 a minute. Then we would spend hours planning trips and trying to refold maps. If we got lost we would ask someone local for directions and have confidence they knew and would not try to rob us.

I was depending on the turn by turn directions from the website and the GPS on my phone until we made an unscheduled stop in Burlington Bennington, VT. OMG! We almost made a huge mistake . I was looked up and saw the 12 ft clearance sign! I yelled STOP!!! We had to unhook the car a backup on a busy street. Fortunately a state policeman stopped and helped us.

Oops, Bennington, not Burlington.

Prefer to sit in front of the laptop screen and use RVTW to plan and then let my RV890 do the navigating.
