Gas Station near Ruidoso,NM for 44ft DP + Toad

We are heading to Ruidoso Motorhome Ranch this weekend and I always like to fill up as much as possible near my destination. I looked at the gas stations in Alto and Ruidoso on Google maps but they all seem rather tight.

Anybody know of one that can accommodate a 44 foot diesel pusher? I can disconnect the toad if needed.

Thanks,
Dan

I'd recommend getting fuel on the interstate before turning off. Las Cruces has many good ones if coming from that direction. You're correct - the stations around Ruidoso are tight and they have you coming in toward the building and that can be a problem. There's Apache Travel Center Casino at 25845 US Hwy 70, Mescalero, NM but again, it has you coming in toward the building with vehicles parking on all sides. Google it for a look see.

I'm coming from the north, either via I40 or I25. Nearest truck stop is about 110 miles.

There is an Alon (which may now be a Valero) in Alto on 48 and Sun Valley. It looks like there is enough room to pull up, fill up, drop the toad and back out. From there it is only a few miles to the RV resort.
