Hanford Ca to Minden Nv

We will be heading to Minden NV from Kings Fairgrounds next month. MS Streets & Trips takes us on Hwy 4. Is this suitable for a MH & Toad or should I take Hwy 88? Have never gone this way before.

I don't think I would recommend taking 49 and 4 from Hanford to Minden.

My suggestion is to take 99 and pick up 88 in Stockton. A better alternate, altho' a few more miles (but better roads), would be to pick up 50 in Sacto and go through South Shore to pick up either 89 back to 4 over the hill or 207 over the hill to Minden.
