Wer'e leaving S Fla the see the boy get married in Seattle and I'm thinking of taking I-25 north from El Paso through Denver into Montana
I was wondering how that road was to take in my DP w/toad
Never been that route before.
Thanks for any advice on this subject.

Nothing wrong with your travel on I 25. You will see that Colorado roads are not as well maintained as soon as you cross the state line. I am a native and use I 25 multiple times a year in a 45 foot DP towing A Jeep Cherokee.
Happy Travel and safe travel. I would recommend that yo take the toll road E-470 outside of Denver to avoid the business traffic throughout Denver it will bypass the heavy traffic and return you to I -25 north of Denver. It will cost about $50 but more than worth it and you will save time and fuel.

I-25 is fine, we travel it yearly. Going thru Denver is the only pain, but if you go non-rush hours its fine. Skip

No problem on any interstates except that you won't be seeing the beauty of our country if you drive them.

Couple of things; as Dsavage74 stated, take E470 around Denver. It is so much better and as stated actually quicker.

Also Raton pass is a pretty healthy climb.

Once up north the drive from Casper Wy to Buffalo Wy is a 130 miles of serious boring highway. LOL

Aside from them minor things it should be clear sailing.

Of course if you are taking I90 West in Montana to Seattle it is pretty windy through the Rockies up there.
Also the drive from Spokane to Seattle is a pretty boring drive.

Personally I’d take I-55 to St. Louis, I-70 to Kansas City, I-29 to I-90 then head on West. Better roads and less congestion.

We traveled from Knoxville to Seattle via Nashville to St. Louis, across to 90 and into Seattle. Use the GPS route offered. It avoids some of the bad weather in the Midwest by going north of the main flow.
