Heading To Cedar Key from I-75 going north

Planning on going up to Cedar Key and wanted to get some travel advice. Is it easier to stay on I-75 or go up I-275? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would rather take the State Routes. Don't have my map handy, but there is a nice coastal highway you can take. Traffic wasn't that bad and much more relaxing then the Interstate. But, that's just me!

I would stay on I 75 and continue to SR 50 going west to 19 than turn north. If you go past 50, I 75 and 19 start to diverge and get further apart.

You should try Tony’ Seafood for their clam chowder.

I-75 up to US-98/SR-50 west to Brooksville, the US-98 northwestward to connect with US-19 south of Homosassa.
