Henderson NV to Valley of Fire

How is the route from the south east side of Vegas thru Henderson or Boulder City to get to Valley of Fires state park on 167?
Thanks for the help

I entered from Henderson but don't recall the highway. The road was fine. There are a few dips along this route. My exit was 169 to I-15 which was good also.

The road is fine, good condition from either access point.
The park service actually does a good job of maintaining it.
If you enjoy the desert scenery, you’ll enjoy the drive.
