Hwy 191 from Bozeman to Rock Springs

I'm one of those guys whose fear of heights means I cannot drive on mountain roads with drop offs and no guard rail. (Don't be a hater) We are planning to go to Yellowstone, then to Rock Springs. I've been told that Hwy 191 from Bozeman to West Yellowstone, and then through the park to Jackson, Wy and then from there down to Rock Springs is a good road with none of the problems described above. Is this true?

I drove that road twice in the last couple of years. We stayed in Pinedale once. And I don't recall any major grades. Seems like there were some minor stuff south of Jackson. We actually drove 191 all the way to Rock Springs. Lots of empty barren countryside south of Pinedale/Lander

Now let me say I am immune to grades, switchbacks and drop offs so I don't tend to recall them all that well.

You going to the Escapade in Rock Springs?

No issues on 191 from Jackson south. I agree, your wife should know how to drive the RV for many reasons.
