Hwy 20 from Newport OR to I-5 ok for DP?

Has anyone been on hwy 20 from Newport OR (hwy 101) to I5? If so, how is it for a 40í DP towing a Jeep? Iím more worried about vertical clearance of trees than curves or grades though.

Weíll be heading north. We came from Central Point up I5 to the 126 over to Florence. Now going north on 101 to 20 then back to I5.

Great route.

If you have time, drop down to Toledo. Itís about 10 miles east of Newport on Hwy 20.Quaint old fishing town.

When you get close to I5 make sure you are in the right lane. Sometimes it is hard to get over to get to the North bound exit off 20 if you wait too long.

If your not in a hurry, at Albany take 99 north. Slower two lane, but much more relaxing.

Yep - if you don't pay attention, and traffic is not polite, you'll breeze right by it.

just a minor detail, are you wanting to hit I-5 at albany for a specific reason? At corvallis if your staying on the road from newport it turns into 34. 34 is a 4 lane road all the way to I-5. If your going to follow 20 to albany, then I-5 you do a lot of. winding around
