I 10 across Louisiana
Has anyone driven this road recently. The last time I went this way it was the roughest road of the whole trip. Would like to take it again, if in better shape

Unfortunately I have to go there frequently. Possibly the worst piece if interstate in the country. Plus it throws gravel and is a windshield breaker

We're in South LA right now. We've been on I10 some and US90 some. Both are rough is spots.

I travel I-10 a lot and yes it is rough. What would your other option be? I-20 is just as rough plus Jackson, MS is having a lot of road construction.

190 runs just north of I-10 and it's a nice road. You can get all the way to Covington, while enjoying the scenery.

Last year, we picked up three windshield rock chips on I 10/12. They are working on fixing it up, but loosing ground. Still worth the trip!

190 sounds like a great option. I'll be going through there in the next week myself..

I-10 between LaFayette and Baton Rouge/ Hwy12 was the worst road I've been on in years!

Up date on part of I10. I got on I10 west at the intersection with US90 which is about mm 100 on I10. Except for through Lake Charles the road surface was good. There were a few rough patches but certainly nothing to make you think about a detour to dodge it.

I live in Louisiana. I-10 certainly some of the worst interstate in the country! That is what happens when you build over the top of swamp land!! There is nothing under some areas of I-10 so it is sinking so the end result is enough to shake your fillings loose!!
I-12 from Slidell, La. to Baton Rouge is alright, but the road construction has been going on for 2 years!! Don't know what the delay is, it only took 7 months to finish the interior of the Titanic!!
