I 29 Kansas to Sioux Falls

What is The road condition on this stretch of interstate? I came out of ATL to Chatt and took I 24 to Paducah Kentucky- what a disaster. I will go another route next time I come out west. Headed to Glacier Montana eventually—if I don’t have to find a dentist to replace my fillings first. Ha Ha.

I drove that route a couple weeks ago, it was OK.


Leaving Sioux Falls headed west there are a couple sections where they are doing road work and have both directions on one side but didn't have any problems.

I just drove I 29 from Sioux Falls to I 80 yesterday
I drove north 3 weeks ago on the the same route.
It was smooth almost the whole way.
The bridges needs some work in places.
I’m in Davenport area now heading home from Glacier.
If you have the TSD fuel card.
Fill up at the Vermillion, T/A. It the last of the sub $3 diesel you will see.
Get your DEF at the Coffee Cup in Moorcroft,MT or Plankton, SD, it’s $2.49 a gallon. I
f you fill up at Plankton with diesel you can make it to Missoula if you have a 150 gallon tank.
I did only get 6.2 mpg thru Wyoming and Montana. It was hot about 96f al the way.
Once you cross the Missouri River the price of diesel goes up about 30 cents/gallon.
Oh. BTW, get a Coffee Cup reward card too. You get enough points for some free coffee, or sodas with a fill up.

Little CO park for 25. per night is at Browns Lakes. Nice quiet park during the week and it fills up on Thursday night into Fri afternoon but then they are all gone pretty much come Sunday afternoon. I have been here for two weeks. Elec and water with a common dumpsite but the rest stops also have dumps. Heading North from here apx 6 miles is a rest stop so I will dump when I leave.
