I-365 on West Side of Chicago

I need to get up to South Elgin, IL from NW Ohio and was wondering how I-365 on the west side of Chicago is for condition and traffic

it's I-355 which runs betwee I-80 at the south end and I-290 on the north. we we're just on 355 last week between I-55 and I-88. good road, no construction.

Don’t know how you are planning to go, but a couple of ways gets you there.
1). I-80E/355N/90w/exit Randall South
2). I-80E/355N/88W/Orchard Rd N/Randall Rd N (left)
Randall Road either N or S takes you right through South Elgin

I would avoid 294N off of I-80– very busy

Best day time travel hours between 10am- 2pm

Hope this helps
