Is I-64 through W. Virginia and Virginia a good route driving a 43' class A? Road conditions - hills - etc. If you have traveled this way, overnight suggestions welcomed for WV area.

No problems at all. Been on that stretch many times. We always go through the far right lane at the tolls so we don't clip mirrors on the tight interior lanes. We boondock at Tamarak Place in Beckley if we're just motoring through. They have lots specifically labeled for bus/RV parking & it's located on a hillside above a truck stop....easy to get gas/easy in & out. There's a restaurant in TP but also a food court in the truck stop below.
If you need a CG recommendation, are you going to be on I-64 in WV the whole way? There's a KOA between Charleston & Huntington for that side of the state, or the WV State Fairgrounds on the other side of the state. There's a Tiffin rally at the fairgrounds Oct 21-25 that has it booked then. Otherwise, you should be good, depending on when you're going through.

A beautiful drive, agree w nlovnit. The KOA is at Milton and is a good RON. The fairgrounds must have 400 sites, we were the ONLY rig there when we stayed.
