Wow!! What a day. Is it always this bad in March and April for spring break?? North and South. Not much on night driving but I think it will happen going home next week.

Don’t know about I-65 but I-95 today was pretty rough. All lanes shut down on 295 (Jacksonville bypass) with an accident involving a semi on top of an overpass bridge. This along with elevated spring break traffic made for a long day.,

But chances are I-65 is all you've got. Just grin and bear it.

At least you have a new Bucee's the first exit south of Athens, Alabama with cheap prices on gasoline and fountain drinks.

I'd be thinking about gauging your time/speed to where you don't come through Franklin and Nashville during morning rush hour.

I go around Nashville. I take 109 from Ky. /Tenn. line to I-840 back to I-65. It’s longer but I could spend the difference sitting in traffic in Nashville.

And Bucee’s, that’s not for me. I explored it right after it opened. Didn’t seem to RV friendly. Cars were backed up to the interstate trying to get in.

And the congestion on the interstate wasn’t just at on/off ramps. North bound was crawling from Birmingham to Montgomery.
