I-70 between KS and CO

Just a heads up, crossing from KS into CO, gasoline jumps .70-.80 a gallon, so fill up before leaving KS or after leaving CO.
Also the first stretch of I-70 W into CO is in piss poor condition, seems all the extra gas taxes and weed taxes in CO aren't being used for highway maintenance.

Also, be advised that here in southern Colorado, there's a shortage of mid and high grade gas at the pumps. It seems the fuel companies can't find enough drivers to deliver the fuel. I want to the Neighborhood Walmart on the southside of Pueblo and all they had was 85 octane which is what my little car takes but the mid and high grade were out. Canon City is having similar issues but the I believe Colorado Springs is ok. Our president needs to stop these free handouts and get people back to working and paying their fair share in taxes. And oh by the way, it seems no one can tell the tax payers where all the 'pot money" has gone because the roads are terrible this year, especially I-25.

Add to the terrible road conditions in Colorado, I-70 especially on the west slope from Vail Pass to Glenwood Springs. Drove it in my pickup last week and I would not drive my motorhome across that section of road. It is Horrible!

Rt 50 is basically closed during the week do to construction, so for many that option is also out - Leaving RT 40 and RT 160.

Not many options in going across Colorado, for a number of reasons.

Come on infrastructure - it is needed if we are going to be allowed to travel and transport goods on the Highways.

Yep, just wait til everybody starts spending their infrastructure $$. That will shut down most alernatives for RV travel as the whole world goes down to single lane 9 foot wide construction zones. Invest in companies that make the orange cones!
